As you may know, Health & Safety precautions have always been vital in the hospitality industry. For that reason, now more than ever, we are further enhancing these guidelines to meet the Belize Tourism Board’s new protocols that will protect both visitors and staff.
We look forward to serving and safely greeting back our valued post-COVID travelers.
Plan Your Visit:
- *Visitors to Belize are now required to purchase Belize Travel Insurance.
- You are required to complete the Customs and Immigration form that is provided to you on your flight to Belize.
- International Tourists are required to book and stay at a BTB approved hotel (unless staying with friends or relatives).
- *QRPs, Belizeans & permanent residents, long-stay non-nationals, Diplomats military personnel, Peace Corps, airline crew, cruise ship passengers and crew, and persons in Belize for less than 24 hours are exempted.
Arrival:
- Effective March 1st, 2022, fully vaccinated travelers no longer require a negative test but must show proof of vaccination for entry into Belize’s airport, land borders, or seaports.
- *Children under five years of age shall not be subjected to testing for SARSCOV2 upon entry into Belize through the airport, land, or seaport.
- If unable to show proof or if unvaccinated, the traveler must present proof of a negative PCR result taken within 72 hours of arrival or a negative Antigen Rapid test taken within 48 hours of arrival. A test can be administered by the Ministry responsible for health at the airport, land borders, and seaports.
- *COVID-19 test will be administered for a fee of USD $50 per passenger.
